Means tested bursaries are available to assist children to attend Culford who might not otherwise be able to afford to take up a place, or to help current pupils remain at Culford. Bursaries are awarded in strictest confidence and exist to help those in financial need. A bursary application may also be made to augment the value of a Scholarship or Exhibition.
Bursaries are provided from income, endowments and gifts and as such are a limited resource. If you wish to apply to the School for financial support you will need to complete a Financial Circumstances Form; offers of support made in this way are reviewed every year and financial circumstances paperwork must be completed annually.
Applications are assessed by the Bursary Committee. Forms may be downloaded below or requested from the Registrar.

Bursaries are not usually offered below the age of 11, except to pupils already in the School, whose parents meet financial hardship.
Early application is strongly advised, ideally prior to entrance exams. Late applications may be made, but parents may be required to accept or decline a place at Culford before results of those applications are known. For this reason early applications are encouraged.
HM Forces - Continuity of Education Allowance
Families in receipt of the MOD’s Continuity of Education Allowance, in accordance with MOD rules, are eligible for discounted boarding fees and are normally automatically awarded a generous Culford Services Allowance. Typically, this means that qualifying parents will only be required to pay between 10% and 15% of the annual boarding fees, once the MOD’s contribution is taken into account. Please click on the link below for detailed fee information.
Services Personnel Fees
Means tested bursaries are also available for sons and daughters of serving or ex-servicemen and women, subject to their children satisfying Culford's entrance exams.
