All day pupils are also assigned a House and have a House Parent as well as a personal tutor. Tutors meet with pupils daily and are always available to provide support and advice on any matter.

Day Houses have recreational areas as well as access to study facilities and lockers for storing personal belongings. Matrons provide refreshments at break times and House Parents will normally be available to talk to in the Houses first thing in the morning, at lunchtime and at the end of the school day.

The school day begins at 8.25pm and finishes at 5.20pm after activities. All Senior pupils have the option to stay for supper and to work in the Library until 8.30pm at no additional charge.

Occasional Boarding

Day pupils may elect to board on an occasional basis up to 10 nights each term. Many pupils and parents have found this convenient when a pupil is involved in drama rehearsals, or are leaving for a trip early the next morning or if parents are away from home overnight.

Optional Extended Day until 8.30pm

Day pupils are fully integrated into its boarding community, with options to part or occasional board, as well as to stay at school for an extended day at no additional charge, joining in activities after school, having supper and completing homework before going home up until 8.30pm.

Culford Express & School Buses

For day pupils living nearer to Culford there is a series of routes with stops at towns and villages on route. Culford runs two shuttle services for pupils living in and around Cambridge and Norwich, leaving from Park & Ride stations and proceeding directly to School in a journey of around 40 minutes. The shuttle departs at 7.45am each morning.
