Equestrian Programme

equestrian programme

Culford offers an Equestrian Programme to interested pupils in the Prep and Senior School.

We have close links with both Newton Hall Equitation Centre near Ipswich, and Barrow Hall Stables in Barrow, near Bury St Edmunds.

Through the activity programme, we offer the opportunity to take part in group lessons from beginner level, through to intermediate / advanced level. Instruction is offered in showjumping, cross-country and dressage and individual lessons can be arranged if required.

Pupils are encouraged to take part in local inter-school competitions, with the option to hire a horse / pony if necessary.

Those who are riding at a suitable level, are registered with the National Schools Equestrian Association and encouraged to represent the school in both individual and team competitions.

For more information about lessons, please contact Mrs Long on ELong@culford.co.uk
