Friday 9 November at 11.00am     The Annual Act of Rememberance

We would be delighted if fellow Old Culfordians and East Anglian Schools alumni, parents  would like to join us with the whole school in remembering those former pupils, colleagues and members of the Culford estate who sacrificed their lives.

During the service, the whole of the Senior and Prep Schools line up on the North Front and the Headmaster reads the names of the fallen before prayers are said and wreaths are laid. There will be a small ‘Garden of Remembrance’ by the North Front open on the day where guests will be able to leave crosses in the ground to remember those loved ones who have died and it is hoped the garden will provide a quiet and peaceful area for reflection.

Guests are invited for coffee in Old Hall from 10.15am before moving to the outside North Front for the Service at 10.40am prompt. After the service, you are invited to stay for a light sandwich lunch and to view some memorabilia displays in the Common Room. Please note guests will not be able to park outside the Hall unless near parking is required; please use alternative car parks on site.

If you would like to attend, to assist us with our catering requirements we would be grateful if you could please reply tofoundation@culford.co.uk by Friday 2 November. We would be delighted if attending personnel could wear Parade Dress with medals for this occasion.
