Pre-Prep PTA

The Pre-Prep Parents Teachers Association is the social and fundraising arm of Culford Pre-Prep School. It is run by a committee of parents and friends of the School who, by working closely with the Staff, become more involved in school life as they support the School and its chosen charities.

Culford Pre-Prep has an extremely active PTA made up of parents from across the Pre-Prep and Nursery. Fundraising is usually for local charities or for the Pre-Prep and Nursery itself.

Latest Fundraising Projects

During the last twelve months our vibrant, friendly committee has been very active in organising and financing a series of successful events including:

  • ‘Living Egg’ Project
  • Mad Science Day
  • Sponsored Bounce for Malawi
  • Boden Sales
  • Summer Fete
  • History off the Page Day
  • Pirates Day
  • Portrait Exhibition
  • School Disco
  • Christmas Fayre

Through such events in recent years, Culford PTA have raised tens of thousands of pounds to provide the School with valuable extra resources to benefit the children e.g. the Adventure Play Area; After-School Care toys; classroom equipment and a children's garden.

As all parents automatically become members of the PTA when their child joins the School, the opportunity exists for them to become involved in committee work, helping at some of the events, or merely supporting these occasions as time permits. It’s great fun and a very friendly Association.
